Courtney Oudit achieved D*DD in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business. The former Rushcroft School pupil will now study Accounting with Management at University of Westminster.
Courtney proved himself to be an exemplary student and is an excellent representative of what is considered to be a consistently good pupil. Courtney went above and beyond the call of duty as a Monoux student and his efforts representing the College in the recent Invictus Games earned plaudits from Prince Harry.

Khadijah had a genuine passion for the issues discussed on the course. She displayed a realistic view of how development works (or, in some cases, doesn't) and always put forward highly eloquent arguments in class. Khadijah's teacher also noted her strength in mentoring other students.
Hana is a highly motivated and enthusiastic young lady who had a 100% attendance on her course. Hana was committed to her studies and submitted work of an exceptionally high standard. This resulted in her achieving a D*D*D*. Hana was used as a teaching assistant at times and can be commended on the manner in which she performed this role.
Rachael was incredibly hard working throughout the year and she never gave up. Rachael's teachers also commented on how inspired they were by her fantastic growth in her self-confidence over the two years.
Monika always gave 100% to whatever she was doing. She achieved top marks in her exams and showed an excellent understanding of the core concepts in Mathematics. She had a mature approach to the subject, working independently but always willing to help others - a wonderful example to her peers.

Maryam Zaheer will be studying Medicine at St George's, University Of London after achieving ABB in Economics, Maths and Biology.
Maryam follows in the footsteps of hundreds of Sir George Monoux College students before her, by achieving her dream to go on to study Medicine at University. Maryam's teachers are unanimous in praising her as a truly exceptional student - her passion for medicine has carried her so far already and her dedication will serve her well in the future.

Tremaine has made incredible progress over the last 2 years. When he first started his Music course, he was quiet and shy. He has shown amazing dedication to improving, and his self-determination has led him to developing an amazing vocal talent. Tremaine received almost full marks in his Rock School exam. His examiner was highly impressed with his technique and performance style. He has an exciting future ahead of him.
Elie constantly worked hard throughout his time at the College. He carried out excellent research for all his coursework and showed a great aptitude to independent learning. His quality and standard of written work improved hugely over the A2 year. He could genuinely appreciate and evaluate serious global issues.
Karima Hoque : A*, A, A
Karima Hoque achieved an A* in A Level Economics and a further two A grades in Mathematics and English Literature. The former Langdon Park School pupil is aspiring to become a chartered accountant after studying Economics at Queen Mary, University of London. She was awarded the Economics Student of the Year Award 2015 and the Class of 58 Achievement Award 2015 at the recent Student Award Ceremony, held at Walthamstow Assembly Hall in September 2015.
Tia was an exceptional student. She achieved high grades for her coursework and was always bright and friendly. Her teachers say "she was an absolute pleasure to teach, thinking not only of herself but always striving to help her colleagues in class".
Khatija was an incredible student and she truly excelled in this subject. Her essays averaged an A grade and she was extremely articulate in her explanation of sensitive topics. She hosted all of the debates in Citizenship classes and was praised by the judges for her role.
The following comments were written by Zeryab's Nuffield Bursary Supervisor, Dr James Garnett, Imperial College: "Zeryab was a pleasure to work with, a very personable and a bright student -- I'm sure he will go far. He picked up laboratory work very quickly and confidently and was doing experiments by himself within a day or so. I was impressed with this knowledge and understanding of biology, chemistry and mathematics. Zeryab worked on a new purification strategy for a set of proteins that I had already been working on. Another project entailed cloning from scratch a protein also expressed in E.coli. I have never been able to produce this protein so Zeryab worked his magic and manage to get a system working which I have never been able to do in the past. This work will be published in a scientific journal with Zeryab as a named author".
Jermain Jackman : D* D* D*
Jermain Jackman is the latest star in a long line of greats to have studied at Sir George Monoux College. Jermain shot to fame in 2014 as the winner of BBC's The Voice UK, winning a £100,000 recording contract in a final watched by over 7 million people. He is currently recording at Universal Music, working with international stars such as Rudimental. Aside from music, Jermain is actively involved in politics, working as a Labour Youth Coordinator and advising Ed Milliband MP on youth politics.
At Sir George Monoux College, Jermain excelled academically by gaining triple Distinction stars in BTEC Music and Distinction Grade 8 in Rock School Vocals. Jermain's examiners were moved to tears when he performed his final exam piece and ran out of superlatives to describe his performance. At the Student Awards Ceremony in 2013 Jermain scooped two awards: the "Music Student of the Year Award" and the "Rising Star Award". Jermain deferred his place to study in the USA at Berklee University, one of the world's foremost music schools, to compete on The Voice. Despite being incredibly busy, Jermain still finds time to visit Sir George Monoux College, regularly holding workshops with our Creative Performing Arts students.
Hanya Pouncey-Delgado : A, A, A, B
Hanya Pouncey-Delgado achieved amazing AAAB grades in Spanish, Psychology, English Language & Literature and Government & Politics. The former Heathcote School pupil is now studying Politics at Queen Mary, University of London. She was awarded the Rising Star Award 2015 at the recent Student Award Ceremony, held at Walthamstow Assembly Hall in September 2015.
Iqra was a brilliant student. Her efforts on the Law course were truly exceptional. She thought not only of herself but also spent a huge amount of time helping her fellow students. She set a fantastic example to all, not only inspiring her colleagues but also the staff.
Valencia had an excellent record of punctuality and attendance of 100%. She always submitted work to deadline, which was consistently of a high standard and was always focused and totally committed to the subject.

Aspiring programmer Muhammed achieved Triple Distinction Stars (D*D*D*), the highest grades possible, in BTEC IT. Muhammed will now be enrolling at City University, London, to study Computer Science.
Safraz had an excellent attendance record, worked very hard to keep his knowledge up to date and -- most impressively -- did his own research on current affairs examples relating to US politics and shared these with the class. He is a mature and committed young man.
Hajrah was a superb student during her time at the College. From the very beginning she showed fantastic dedication, commitment and passion for the subject. Her achievements are highly deserved and the staff have no doubt that she will be a success in whatever she chooses to do in the future.
Numaan worked consistently hard throughout his time at College and was an excellent role model to other students. Driven and self-motivated, Numaan pushed himself by giving 100% and was always open to helping and encouraging others.
Taban's enthusiasm for the subject of Sociology was an absolute delight. Her work was always of an extremely high standard and it was frequently used as a model answer for other students to benefit from. Indeed, her revision cards were copied and shared by many because they were so detailed and useful.

Ali Shah achieved A*AA in Mathematics, Further mathematics and Physics. The former Kelmscott School pupil is now studying Aerospace Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London. He was awarded the Physics Student of the Year Award 2015 at the recent Student Award Ceremony, held at Walthamstow Assembly Hall in September 2015.
Following in the footsteps of the elder Voong siblings, who were winners in previous Awards Ceremonies, Jamie achieved very highly at Sir George Monoux College. Her efforts on the course were second to none and her high grades at the end of the course were very well deserved.
Saheel's progress on the Religious Studies course was remarkable. He put in a huge amount of effort and succeeded in his ambition to not only do well on the course, but also deepen his understanding of Islam in the process.
Mohammad Jamil Khan
Mohammad excelled in his sporting abilities over his time at College. He was a true example of dedication, motivation and determination. Mohammad joined the College football team of 2012 as a sub, but improved especially throughout the summer period where he worked hard to improve his cardio-vascular fitness and football skills, which led to him becoming a key member of a successful team.

The former Park View School pupils even received identical university offers and are both off to London School Of Economics (LSE) to study Sociology. Suad Kamardeen achieved a brilliant A* grade in Mathematics and two A grades in Chemistry and Further Maths. She will now be studying Chemical Engineering at University of Birmingham.

Priscilla faced several obstacles at the beginning of her course. However, with determination and perseverance she gained a fantastic end grade, of which she was highly deserving. A model student and an inspiration to all around her.

Hasnain Ahmed achieved D* D* D* in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma ICT. The former Frederick Bremer School pupil is now taking a gap year before studying LLB Law at UCL.
Hasnain was a fantastic ICT student not only in terms of academia but in terms of commitment, passion and unselfishness. In the second year he finished his course one month before everyone else. He was never self-absorbed, he was always around to help any students - both students he knew and students he didn't know. He wouldn't help them by giving them work, he would actually teach and make sure students understood.
