All about our Art and Design - UAL Level 2 Diploma in Art & Design course:
This course provides students with an interest in art and design with the opportunity to explore the materials, methods and processes that support art and design activities and to begin to develop some related technical skills. It provides an opportunity to explore, develop and test creativity through enhancing self-confidence.
Students learn how to work with 2D (drawing, painting, printmaking, digital), 3D (sculpture, model-making, ceramics) and time-based (photography, video, film, animation) media. The year ends with a final project where students show off the skills they have gained during the course and exhibit their work in the college.
How is this course assessed?
100% Coursework - All units are pass/referred except for the final project which is graded at Pass/Merit/Distinction.
