All about our Art Vocational 90 Credit Year 1 course:
Art & Design Level 3 is a full time course which will enable students to progress onto University or skilled employment. This course is characterised by experimental and integrated learning. The focus of the course is on creative problem solving supported by research and analysis so that you can define, understand and contribute to the area in which you wish to work.
Art & Design is designed to enable you to try new things to identify what you like doing creatively. It also involves you working more independently to put your new skills into practice, working in the area you eventually wish to be employed in. Each year of the course ends with an exhibition of your work.
How is this course assessed?
This course is 60% coursework unit and 40% exam unit. Both are internally assessed and externally moderated.
