All about our Dance Vocational 30 Credit course:
By studying dance you will learn to develop your repertoire in a number of dance styles. It is a fun way to keep fit and to develop core personal skills such as team work, self-discipline and problem solving. You will participate in productions and practice the key physical and interpretive skills needed in performance.
On this course you will study a variety of techniques such as Jazz and Contemporary dance. You will develop your creative skills by devising and choreographing movement through workshops and the study of existing works. You will attend productions throughout the year including Matthew Bourne’s Christmas season at Sadlers Wells. This course has been designed to be taken alongside other vocational or A Level qualifications.

This course will be assessed through internal assessment of class work, practical coursework and productions.
