Whilst studying, pathway specific Talent Lab options will offer you options ranging from first aid courses to talks from professionals in this sector. 100 hours of work experience is a compulsory part of this course and will improve your personal statement for University. Distinctive modules include: - Research methods - Physiological disorders - Applied psychology - Dealing with challenging behaviour - Caring for children and young people - Personal and professional development

How is this course assessed?

This course will be assessed through ma variety of assessment methods including: essays, reports, live assessment, individual and group presentations. You will also sit 2 external exams per year in the BTEC programme.

What about careers?

You can progress into degree level study in healthcare or related field such as law, criminology or psychology. Future careers after a Health & Social Care course include, social work, midwifery, nursing and many more.
