This course will teach you some of the core skills of journalism and the media industry, ranging from research skills, through to idea development and producing strong copy.

You will develop your writing skills in a vocational setting, with an emphasis on real-world assignments. For example, you will respond to briefs for a variety of audiences such as readers of a sports magazine or a local newspaper. You will also be asked to write on current events. Distinctive modules include: - Creating a media product - Journalism and news industries
