Sociology is a Social Science in which you will learn skills and subject knowledge relevant for a wide range of occupations linked to social and political issues.
There are unique enrichment opportunities at Monoux College with ‘Journey to Justice’. You will learn how to campaign for social justice and take part in an active social movement on issues that you care about. This course is assessed through two exams at the end of the two years of study.

Sociology students can go onto sociology-related apprenticeships or degrees. Future careers including, but not limited to: Government funded agencies such as The Economic and Social Research Council or The Equality and Human Rights Commission, Pressure groups such as the Runnymede Trust (Anti-Racism), International relations, Business management, Social policy and welfare, Education (teaching and management), Journalism and Social work.
