You will develop your oral skills [speaking and listening] through conversations and presentations, and develop your ability to write and read Spanish to a more sophisticated level. You will study a novel and a film and consider the socio/cultural background to the stories and their impact as well as the construction and ideas in the texts themselves. Distinctive modules include: - Social issues and trends - Political and artistic culture - Grammar

This course will be assessed through exams in the first and second year.

Spanish can be studied at degree level on its own or part of a combination course, e.g. Marketing and Spanish, English and Spanish etc. Spanish A Level is superb qualification to gain that will aid in all industries and subjects. An A Level in Spanish lends towards careers including; Politicians, Historians, Geographers & Travel agents.
