All about our Travel and Tourism Vocational 90 Credit Year 1 course:
Have you ever wondered what the tourism industry is about? Would you like to work in one of the fastest growing industries that employs over 237 million people worldwide? Would you like to use tourism as an entry onto higher education? Studying travel and tourism will provide you with both an academic and vocational route.
The programme aims to provide students with an in depth understanding of the tourism industry, the value of the tourism industry and the employment opportunities it creates. In year 2 the focus looks at the ethics of tourism and the need of the industry to enter the digital world in order keep up to date with competition and customers. The course will explore businesses in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

You will be assessed continually through practical project work, coursework, written assignments, time constrained assignments and presentations.
