This course provides an in depth understanding of the tourism industry, its value and the employment opportunities it creates. You will look at the role of marketing and the key organisations that are prominent in the industry.

You will also have opportunities to work with customers that are travelling or going to tourists destinations, or you could have a role as a manager or supervisor in one of many supporting industries such as hospitality and transport, accommodation and attractions, amongst others. Distinctive modules include: - The UK and Travel and Tourism Sector - The Business Environment - The UK and International Destinations - Factors Affecting Worldwide Tourism - Promotion and Sales - Organising a Study Visit - Holiday Representatives
