9 of our students have been accepted to become ambassadors of Sport England’s National Campaign, This Girl Can. The aim of the campaign is to help women and girls overcome the fear of judgement that is stopping many females from being physically active.
They are hosting six regional training events for Student Ambassadors and the London/East Region training event will be hosted at Sir George Monoux College!
The training day that will be will include more information on This Girl Can, inactivity amongst women and girls, leadership & social Media. This Girl Can Ambassador’s will be tasked with: Raising awareness of the Sport England campaign, promoting and delivering new and existing college activities to try and encourage female students to get active and targeting a minimum of 30 inactive females in their college throughout the year.
