We are proudly, the first sixth form college in London with a 10am lesson start time. We adopted this innovative change to the college day in 2017 and we believe in moulding the college day to maximise concentration, focus & general wellbeing. Many of our students take advantage of the hour before lessons to catch up on work, grab free breakfast from our canteen, & participate in various extra-curricular activities that run in the mornings.

Yesterday morning a group of our first year Gifted & Talented students spent their hour before their 10am lessons, speaking to journalists from BBC news online! They offered different perspectives on how our 10am lesson start time has enhanced their capability to learn and gave some valuable insight on why as many students as possible should sign the petition ahead on the debate on Monday (Feb 11).

We were so proud of them and they did so well expressing their opinions.

You can see snippets of their video interviews on our social media platforms: @monouxcollege
