The Big Idea Challenge, which is run by London Metropolitan University, is a cross country college competition. The competition equips students with the skills to learn how to develop their ideas into a powerful business model and pitch it to the world.
Our students' idea, Aptitude, is a wearable piece of tech (that can come in the form of a bracelet, phone case or keychain), that will alert nearby people and send an automated message to emergency services if you are in danger. All it takes is a safe word, and your piece of tech will set off a loud alarm.
We're very proud of Aisha, Asiya & Everalda for developing such an innovative idea that would have such positive social impacts on communities both in the UK and worldwide.
