As we started the new academic year after an unexpected lockdown, we as a college were determined to start the term with various intiatives to help students ease back into healthy routines at college.

Ikenna studied at Monoux from 2005-2007 and in that time he has gone onto to explore the industry, and shared his journey towards spearheading creative hub, Stoodio Club. 

As Maths Week came to an end (11-15 March), we welcomed six local secondary schools and a group of their Year 10 Maths students to compete in our first ever Mathletes competition…

Students at Monoux Sixth Form achieved an excellent set of results this year, with nearly 70% of students achieving high grades. 85% of students progressed to University, with 90 students gaining places at top Russell Group Universities.

Our first year Gifted & Talented students took part in our annual Leaders of Learning conference featuring a panel of Year 2 A Level & BTEC students and professionals, including PwC and the HM Treasury.

Three of our students Aisha Jazat, Asiya Warsame & Everalda Lekaj have made it through to the final stage of the Big Idea Challenge!

Students from the College competed at the AoC Sport National Championships in Nottingham last weekend, coming home with a regional finish of 6th place.

My time as an intern at Sir George Monoux College has been an inspiring and enriching experience.
