Work Experience

Work Experience

Monoux College offers a wide and exciting range of Work Experience and Employability opportunities. These include work experience placements, Work Experience Projects, Industry Placements, Employer Talks and Workshops. These opportunities are a vital part of our students’ time at college, and will give them an excellent opportunity to develop their employability skills, networking, and commercial awareness. The course our students choose to study will determine the length of work placement, and all students will take part in at least one aspect of Work Related Learning.

The College is piloting extended placements (industry Placements) of 45 days in preparation of the new T-Level qualifications that the government is rolling out from 2020. Some learners on Level 3 courses will be invited to take part in this exciting new venture and be able to take advantage of working with an employer every week to gain new skills, gain experience and be more work ready for the future.
