Courtney Oudit achieved D*DD in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business. The former Rushcroft School pupil will now study Accounting with Management at University of Westminster.
Courtney proved himself to be an exemplary student and is an excellent representative of what is considered to be a consistently good pupil. Courtney went above and beyond the call of duty as a Monoux student and his efforts representing the College in the recent Invictus Games earned plaudits from Prince Harry.

Monika always gave 100% to whatever she was doing. She achieved top marks in her exams and showed an excellent understanding of the core concepts in Mathematics. She had a mature approach to the subject, working independently but always willing to help others - a wonderful example to her peers.
Tremaine has made incredible progress over the last 2 years. When he first started his Music course, he was quiet and shy. He has shown amazing dedication to improving, and his self-determination has led him to developing an amazing vocal talent. Tremaine received almost full marks in his Rock School exam. His examiner was highly impressed with his technique and performance style. He has an exciting future ahead of him.
Elie constantly worked hard throughout his time at the College. He carried out excellent research for all his coursework and showed a great aptitude to independent learning. His quality and standard of written work improved hugely over the A2 year. He could genuinely appreciate and evaluate serious global issues.

Maryam Zaheer will be studying Medicine at St George's, University Of London after achieving ABB in Economics, Maths and Biology.
Maryam follows in the footsteps of hundreds of Sir George Monoux College students before her, by achieving her dream to go on to study Medicine at University. Maryam's teachers are unanimous in praising her as a truly exceptional student - her passion for medicine has carried her so far already and her dedication will serve her well in the future.

Karima Hoque : A*, A, A
Karima Hoque achieved an A* in A Level Economics and a further two A grades in Mathematics and English Literature. The former Langdon Park School pupil is aspiring to become a chartered accountant after studying Economics at Queen Mary, University of London. She was awarded the Economics Student of the Year Award 2015 and the Class of 58 Achievement Award 2015 at the recent Student Award Ceremony, held at Walthamstow Assembly Hall in September 2015.
Tia was an exceptional student. She achieved high grades for her coursework and was always bright and friendly. Her teachers say "she was an absolute pleasure to teach, thinking not only of herself but always striving to help her colleagues in class".
Khatija was an incredible student and she truly excelled in this subject. Her essays averaged an A grade and she was extremely articulate in her explanation of sensitive topics. She hosted all of the debates in Citizenship classes and was praised by the judges for her role.
Hanya Pouncey-Delgado : A, A, A, B
Hanya Pouncey-Delgado achieved amazing AAAB grades in Spanish, Psychology, English Language & Literature and Government & Politics. The former Heathcote School pupil is now studying Politics at Queen Mary, University of London. She was awarded the Rising Star Award 2015 at the recent Student Award Ceremony, held at Walthamstow Assembly Hall in September 2015.
Iqra was a brilliant student. Her efforts on the Law course were truly exceptional. She thought not only of herself but also spent a huge amount of time helping her fellow students. She set a fantastic example to all, not only inspiring her colleagues but also the staff.
The following comments were written by Zeryab's Nuffield Bursary Supervisor, Dr James Garnett, Imperial College: "Zeryab was a pleasure to work with, a very personable and a bright student -- I'm sure he will go far. He picked up laboratory work very quickly and confidently and was doing experiments by himself within a day or so. I was impressed with this knowledge and understanding of biology, chemistry and mathematics. Zeryab worked on a new purification strategy for a set of proteins that I had already been working on. Another project entailed cloning from scratch a protein also expressed in E.coli. I have never been able to produce this protein so Zeryab worked his magic and manage to get a system working which I have never been able to do in the past. This work will be published in a scientific journal with Zeryab as a named author".
Jermain Jackman : D* D* D*
Jermain Jackman is the latest star in a long line of greats to have studied at Sir George Monoux College. Jermain shot to fame in 2014 as the winner of BBC's The Voice UK, winning a Â£100,000 recording contract in a final watched by over 7 million people. He is currently recording at Universal Music, working with international stars such as Rudimental. Aside from music, Jermain is actively involved in politics, working as a Labour Youth Coordinator and advising Ed Milliband MP on youth politics.
At Sir George Monoux College, Jermain excelled academically by gaining triple Distinction stars in BTEC Music and Distinction Grade 8 in Rock School Vocals. Jermain's examiners were moved to tears when he performed his final exam piece and ran out of superlatives to describe his performance. At the Student Awards Ceremony in 2013 Jermain scooped two awards: the "Music Student of the Year Award" and the "Rising Star Award". Jermain deferred his place to study in the USA at Berklee University, one of the world's foremost music schools, to compete on The Voice. Despite being incredibly busy, Jermain still finds time to visit Sir George Monoux College, regularly holding workshops with our Creative Performing Arts students.
Valencia had an excellent record of punctuality and attendance of 100%. She always submitted work to deadline, which was consistently of a high standard and was always focused and totally committed to the subject.
Muhammed Yalcin : D*D*D*
Aspiring programmer Muhammed achieved Triple Distinction Stars (D*D*D*), the highest grades possible, in BTEC IT. Muhammed will now be enrolling at City University, London, to study Computer Science.
Safraz had an excellent attendance record, worked very hard to keep his knowledge up to date and -- most impressively -- did his own research on current affairs examples relating to US politics and shared these with the class. He is a mature and committed young man.
Hajrah was a superb student during her time at the College. From the very beginning she showed fantastic dedication, commitment and passion for the subject. Her achievements are highly deserved and the staff have no doubt that she will be a success in whatever she chooses to do in the future.
Numaan worked consistently hard throughout his time at College and was an excellent role model to other students. Driven and self-motivated, Numaan pushed himself by giving 100% and was always open to helping and encouraging others.
Aahad Akhtar : A*A*A
Aahad Akhtar achieved an outstanding A*A*A in A Level Economics, Mathematics and Biology and will be enrolling at University College London to study Economics. He accomplished full marks in his Mathematics paper. His brother also attended Sir George Monoux College and is now working in a successful banking firm. Aahad said "I had such an excellent experience here at Monoux; the teachers were just great!"
Taban's enthusiasm for the subject of Sociology was an absolute delight. Her work was always of an extremely high standard and it was frequently used as a model answer for other students to benefit from. Indeed, her revision cards were copied and shared by many because they were so detailed and useful.

Abdul Karim achieved AAB in Sociology, History and Economics. The former Park View Academy pupil is now studying Accounting and Finance at University of Exeter.

Ali Shah achieved A*AA in Mathematics, Further mathematics and Physics. The former Kelmscott School pupil is now studying Aerospace Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London. He was awarded the Physics Student of the Year Award 2015 at the recent Student Award Ceremony, held at Walthamstow Assembly Hall in September 2015.
Following in the footsteps of the elder Voong siblings, who were winners in previous Awards Ceremonies, Jamie achieved very highly at Sir George Monoux College. Her efforts on the course were second to none and her high grades at the end of the course were very well deserved.
Saheel's progress on the Religious Studies course was remarkable. He put in a huge amount of effort and succeeded in his ambition to not only do well on the course, but also deepen his understanding of Islam in the process.
Mohammad Jamil Khan
Mohammad excelled in his sporting abilities over his time at College. He was a true example of dedication, motivation and determination. Mohammad joined the College football team of 2012 as a sub, but improved especially throughout the summer period where he worked hard to improve his cardio-vascular fitness and football skills, which led to him becoming a key member of a successful team.

Cambridge-bound Keano Robinson achieved a remarkable A* in Mathematics and 3 A grades in A Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Keano will be studying Chemical Engineering at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge.
Since his first day of College, Keano showed a number of qualities befitting of any top student: maturity, leadership, passion, commitment, a desire to go that extra mile to be the best and achieve his dreams.

Identical twins, Tanisha and Ianisha Lawrence achieved a combined A*AAABB in the same subjects, Psychology, Sociology and English Language and Literature. The former Park View School pupils even received identical university offers and are both off to London School Of Economics (LSE) to study Sociology. Tanisha said â€œOur teachers were so supportive from the beginning, weâ€™re so thankful to have been taught by them!â€.
Suad Kamardeen : A*, A, A
Suad Kamardeen achieved a brilliant A* grade in Mathematics and two A grades in Chemistry and Further Maths. She will now be studying Chemical Engineering at University of Birmingham.
Suad displayed outstanding progress and achievement in A2 Chemistry. She showed great determination and excelled in understanding new concepts for each unit making her knowledge second to none.

Aspiring lawyer Sherbanu Mohammed has accepted a place to study Law at SOAS after achieving A*A*B in A Level Sociology, Psychology and Communication and Culture. Formerly a pupil at Buxton School, Sherbanu follows in the footsteps of her older sister Rizwana, a former Sir George Monoux Sixth Form College student herself, who currently studies Religious Studies at SOAS.

Sulaman Azhar achieved an A* in A Level Economics and two A grades in Mathematics and Physics, as well as an A grade in AS Level Further Maths. The former Willowfield School pupil will now be studying Economics at the London School of Economics.
Sulaman was an outstanding student in his two years at the College, with an interest and dedication second to none. He proved himself to be an extremely able Economist.

Priscilla faced several obstacles at the beginning of her course. However, with determination and perseverance she gained a fantastic end grade, of which she was highly deserving. A model student and an inspiration to all around her.

Zahra Hussain achieved an incredible two A* grades in Biology and Mathematics, plus an A grade in Chemistry. She will now be undertaking a career in Medicine. Zahra is following in the footsteps of her two sisters who also successfully graduated from Sir George Monoux College. The aspiring future doctor is a former Walthamstow School for Girls pupil.

Keily Burns : D*D*D*
There were Triple Distinction Stars (D*D*D*), the highest grades possible, for BTEC Health and Social Care student, Keily Burns. Keily is an aspiring Child Nurse and has accepted an offer to study Children's Nursing at South Bank University.
Khadijah had a genuine passion for the issues discussed on the course. She displayed a realistic view of how development works (or, in some cases, doesn't) and always put forward highly eloquent arguments in class. Khadijah's teacher also noted her strength in mentoring other students.
Hana is a highly motivated and enthusiastic young lady who had a 100% attendance on her course. Hana was committed to her studies and submitted work of an exceptionally high standard. This resulted in her achieving a D*D*D*. Hana was used as a teaching assistant at times and can be commended on the manner in which she performed this role.
Rachael was incredibly hard working throughout the year and she never gave up. Rachael's teachers also commented on how inspired they were by her fantastic growth in her self-confidence over the two years.

Haroon Suleman : A*BB
Haroon Suleman achieved A*BB in A Level Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. He hopes to become an Actuary and is now going to be studying Actuarial Science at City University of London. Two of his brothers are graduates of Sir George Monoux College and have continued their studies at University College London and St. George's University of London. Haroon said "The teaching was excellent at Monoux; I'm so pleased with my results."
Joshua Adjaho : A*, A*, A
Joshua Adjaho achieved an outstanding A*A*A grades in A Level Economics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics and will be enrolling at London School Of Economics (LSE) to study Economics. Joshua aspires to become an Economist at the World Bank and follows in the footsteps of his brother, Christopher, who gained A*AAA at Sir George Monoux Sixth Form College and has just graduated in Mathematics from the University Of Edinburgh. Joshua, formerly of Langdon Park School, said "Iâ€™m delighted with my results! Iâ€™m really looking forward to starting at LSE. Tyra Edwards-Walker achieved an amazing AAA in A Level Psychology, Mathematics and Statistics and will be studying Financial Mathematics at Loughborough University. Once she has completed her studies, she aspires to work in the finance industry. Tyra said "The facilities and resources at the College helped me immensely."

Ashar Rahim accomplished an amazing A*AB in A Level Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. Ashar's uncle is a former Sir George Monoux College student and is now a Chartered Accountant. Ashar said "The teachers supported me a great deal throughout my years in Monoux."
Suniya Iqbal : A*BB
Suniya Iqbal obtained A*BB in Sociology, Law, Economics. The former Willowfield student is now going on to study Law at City University of London. She said "The teachers at Monoux are very good and encourage other students to work hard; it's important to not leave everything to your teachers". Suniya's older sister and aunt both attended Sir George Monoux College and they are now both working in the education sector.

Shereen Rehman obtained an amazing D*D*D* in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Health and Social Care and is going to study Therapeutic Psychology at the University of Roehampton. She said "The College is wonderful, the teachers encouraged me to work hard".

Oswald Addo achieved D* D* D* in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performance Arts. The former Brampton Manor School pupil will now study Musical Theatre at the University of West London.
Oswald presents an outstanding performing talent. A kind, generous and mature young man, Oswald's teachers regarded him as a pleasure to teach and very much 'one to watch' for the future. Sir George Monoux College can not wait to see the successes we know he will achieve.

Hasnain Ahmed : D* D* D*
Hasnain Ahmed achieved D* D* D* in BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma ICT. The former Frederick Bremer School pupil is now taking a gap year before studying LLB Law at UCL.
Hasnain was a fantastic ICT student not only in terms of academia but in terms of commitment, passion and unselfishness. In the second year he finished his course one month before everyone else. He was never self-absorbed, he was always around to help any students - both students he knew and students he didn't know. He wouldn't help them by giving them work, he would actually teach and make sure students understood.
