Course Details
A T level is perfect if you know what field you want to specialise in for Health and Social Care. We will be offering T Levels from Sept 2024. This will allow you to gain experience needed to have a career in adult nursing. You will strengthen your employability skills on this course. 20% of the course is in an industry placement (315 hours in work place setting), with 80% of your study based in the classroom. You will develop your maths, English, digital and presentation skills on this course.

How is this course assessed?
Core component – 2 parts – Examination and Employer set project. Occupational specialism – one assessment and also a professional discussion will be graded.

Qualification – T Level
Level – Level 3

What are the entry requirements?
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including GCSE English and Maths.

Students need GCSE 5 at Science.

What are the modules and units?
Health and safety regulations applicable in the healthcare sector. You will learn about specific policies and why these are important for this sector. You will also look at how to develop long term and effective relationships at work and why this
is important.

Supporting the Adult Nursing Team – Here you will learn about clinical tasks that involved in nursing, how to analyse data, support individuals with daily living. As well as assisting skin tests for skin conditions that patients might have.

315 hour work placement with an employer in the health and social care setting.
