Course Details
This course provides an in depth understanding of the tourism industry, its value and the employment opportunities it creates. You will look at the role of marketing and the key organisations that are prominent in the industry. You will also have opportunities to work with customers that are travelling or going to tourist destinations, or you could have a role as a manager or supervisor in one of many supporting industries such as hospitality and transport, accommodation and attractions.

This course will be assessed through a combination of internal and external assessments.

Qualification – Extended Diploma
Level – 3 (equivalent to three A Levels

What are the entry requirements?
4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (or MM at L2), including GCSE English or Maths at 4 or above.
