After a period of teaching, Andy retrained as a chartered accountant. Until his retirement in 2021, he was a senior tax partner at PwC, and worked with many global organisations.
His driving passion has been working to improve the social mobility landscape of the country. For the last 14 years he has been involved in a wide range of social mobility projects from the strategic to the operational which continues to be the main focus of his energies.
