Course Details
This course is equivalent to an A Level and is taken together with two other A Level subjects. On this course you will study a variety of techniques such as Jazz and Contemporary dance. You will develop your creative skills by devising and choreographing movement through workshops and the study of existing works. You will attend productions throughout the year including Matthew Bourne’s Christmas season at Sadlers Wells.
How is this course assessed?
This course will be assessed through internal assessment of class work, practical coursework and productions.

Qualification – Cambridge Technical Ext. Certificate
Level – 3 (equivalent to one A Level)
What are the entry requirements?
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above.
An audition will also be required.

Annual Christmas Carousel event, Variety Show, Opportunity to dance in the Walthamstow, Garden Party, Strong relationship with world renowned
choreographer, Matthew Bourne. Opportunities to observe rehearsals and attend workshops led by company members
