On Thursday 14th February we welcomed young Mathematicians from St Anne’s Catholic School, The Bridge Academy, Holy Family Catholic School, South Chingford Foundation School, Rokeby School & Walthamstow School For Girls, into the college for our first ever Mathletes Competition.
Their session started with a Maths masterclass lesson lead by our Physics & Maths teacher, where they had the chance to immerse themselves in Calculus equations. After a short break the competition began and we were amazed by the Maths aptitude displayed by all schools. Our Physics and Maths students were at the event too to help students with any questions!
After a gruelling competition and a knockout round, students from The Bridge Academy took home the trophy.
