Monoux Alumnus, Ikenna Ihecherenoma and the emergence of creative incubator Stoodio Club

Alumnus Ikenna Ihecherenoma

The ‘Return to Greatness' Project, led by Ikenna and the team at Stoodio Club is dedicated to changing the narrative in which creatives illustrate their work, showcase their craft, and announce themselves on the big stage. Their vision is simple, to give back the control to creatives by opening London based 24 Hour access studios. One of the first of its kind.

Ikenna studied at Monoux from 2005-2007 and in that time he has gone onto to explore the industry, hone his skills and collaborate with experts in the field of audio. Along with his team at Stoodio Club he works hand in hand with Podcasters, Songwriters, Artists, Engineers, Narrators, and more.

After studying Television and Film studies at Monoux he went onto gain a degree in Journalism & Media with a specialisation in his final year which focused on Sound Engineering. As a former student at Monoux College, he understands the importance of safe spaces for creatives especially as creatives and brands continue to rebuild amidst the global pandemic. By supporting young creatives to create their dreams, Stoodios’ vision is to become a global creative environment provider dedicated to providing exciting and versatile environments for creative individuals and businesses.

Along with creating spaces that inspire and nurture creative talent, the team at Stoodio Club are determined to change the narrative of female creatives. By offering a hub of support for creative females and exposure to existing industries, Ikenna and Stoodio Club are taking proactive action towards the gender gap.

Ikenna’s story in the creative industry is one that many young people currently studying at Monoux can relate to. The pursuit of navigating through the creative industry and committing to changing the manner in which creatives illustrate their work, is both admirable and necessary as we welcome the big return to normality.

As well as giving creatives control of their work, Stoodio club believes in rewarding hard work through constant support, from bookings to directing individuals to other creatives. As Stoodio Club prepare to officially launch their London site, we were thrilled to hear Ikenna’s Monoux story and the influences that strengthened his passion to refine the craft of creatives alongside the team at Stoodio Club.
